Because of limited capacities, regristrations are accepted on a "first come first serve" basis. 

Please note that invited speakers do not have to register!

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations (invited speakers only) are scheduled for 30 minutes + 15 minutes discussion. Technical equpiment will be provided on-site.

Poster Session

Aside from the oral presentations, the workshop will include a poster session that is open for all participants. We kindly ask you to submit abstracts for poster presentations (max. 200 words) to j.karbach@mx.uni-saarland.de before August 15, 2012.

Travel Grants

Junior scientists (Ph.D students, post-docs, „Habilitanden“) that actively contribute to the workshop by presenting their work are invited to apply for travel grants. The organizers will reward a limited number of travel grants (up to 300 EUR per person) to selected junior scientists based on the quality of their submission.

Please note that participants can only apply for travel grants if they actively contribute (i.e., present a poster) to the event. Applicants should submit their abstract (max. 200 words) along with a letter of recommendation from their supervisor to j.karbach@mx.uni-saarland.de before July 31, 2012. They will be informed about the decision on their grant application before the end of August.
